F12 Program Application

The Future Technology Workforce Leaders and Visionaries (F12) program prepares South Carolina students for future IT roles in the workplace. The sessions begin January 2023. Students completing the program will receive a scholarship ranging from $250-$1,000. There is no cost to participate in the F12 program. Up to ten students will be selected for the program.

Program Eligibility Criteria

  • Current seniors enrolled in a South Carolina high school/home school in Berkeley, Charleston, Williamsburg, Orangeburg, Richland, Lexington, Newberry, Laurens, Fairfield, Kershaw, and York Counties (*see statement below for alternate eligibility)

  • Students intending to pursue a career in Information Technology or related field and planning to attend college and major in one of these fields (to be awarded a scholarship, you must be accepted into a degree program indicated in the previous link.) 

  • Student must have computer with webcam and internet access

Application Must Be Submitted By November 4, 2023

*SC SkillsUSA and The NextIT Girl high school seniors in South Carolina or freshman, sophomores, and juniors currently enrolled in an IT related degree program at Claflin University may apply as alternate list candidates. Membership/enrollment will be verified in the event such alternates are selected. Selected alternate candidates will be eligible for the scholarship if they complete the program, but they may not be eligible for the ITF+ exam voucher.
